About Sarawak Heart Centre


"PJS secara rasminya beroperasi pada 1 Januari 2011 dengan sewaan minima dari SIMC dengan kapasiti katil sebanyak 106 unit katil dan telah dirasmikan oleh Perdana Menteri pada 16 Januari 2011. Antara jabatan awal yang beroperasi sepenuhnya di PJS adalah Jabatan Kardiologi, Jabatan Kardiotorasik dan Kardiak Anestisiologi & Perfusi. Pada 2012, Jabatan Geriatrik turut dipindahkan ke PJS. Manakala sebahagian jabatan seperti perkhidmatan Hemodialisis, Radioterapi & Onkologi, Urologi serta perkhidmatan sokongan lain seperti Patologi, Radiologi, Dietatik, Fisioterapi dan lain-lain turut beroperasi di PJS. PJS beroperasi sepenuhnya sebagai jabatan berasingan dari Hospital Umum Sarawak bermula Julai 2016."
