About Point Designs
"Point Designs specializes in producing heavy-duty partial hand prostheses. Years of development and discussion with prosthetists and patients led us to design our flagship product, the Point Digit, a prosthetic finger for people with full finger loss. An ideal solution for patients with near-MCP level amputations/differences, the Point Digit moves like an anatomical finger, is robust, and can be positioned without another hand (unilaterally). With it, we answer the need for a full finger prosthesis that can be intuitively positioned and used in heavy-duty environments. At a lower cost than a powered bionic prosthesis, and with more function than a cosmetic restoration, the Point Digit helps many find independence in their daily lives."
