Mehmet Akif Ersoy Göğüs Kalp ve Damar Cerrahisi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi İstanbul Avrupa yakasında kalp ve damar cerrahisi alanında hizmet veren Sağlık Bakanlığı'na ait tek hastanedir. 2009 tarihinde bu yana kalp ve damar hastalıklarının tanı ve tedavisinde referans olmayı başarmış ve dünya tıp literatürüne katkı sağlayan bir konuma gelmiş durumdadır."
