"Uusi lastensairaala on lasten vaativaan erikoissairaanhoitoon keskittynyt sairaala. Sairaalassa hoidetaan potilaita kaikkialta Suomesta. Uudessa lastensairaalassa hoidetaan potilaita vastasyntyneistä 15-vuotiaisiin. Uudessa lastensairaalassa perhe saa olla yhdessä. Vanhemmat voivat olla lapsensa luona ympäri vuorokauden. Sairaalapäivystys on avoinna ympäri vuorokauden. Pääsääntöisesti hoitoon tullaan lähetteellä. Äkillisesti sairastuneen lapsen ja nuoren ensisijainen hoitopaikka on arkisin klo 8–16 oma terveysasema ja klo 16 jälkeen Uuden lastensairaalan yhteispäivystys. Kahvio sijaitsee sairaalan 2. kerroksessa. Kahvion aukioloajat ma–pe klo 8.00–16.00 la–su klo 10.00–15.00"
